I hope this helps you as it did for me, but for those that the above method doesn't solve the issue all I can suggest is totry uninstalling and reinstalling calculator app and sorry that the method above is working for you. then try pressing calculator key, for me after doing step 4 it was working again. "Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers Foreach " let it run until completion or when you see the command prompt again. Download on the App Store Get it from Microsoft. open windows powershell copy and paste or type the following without quotation marks. so I thought I post it here as the solution I mention here don't solve the issue of key not doing what it should do on a keyboard.ġ go to Microsoft store from the start menu and install Microsoft Calculator.Ģ after installation press Calculator keyboard key it should start working now.ģ in the event that calculator app immediately closes upon launching, go to setting > app > Calculator > advance option > click reset.Ĥ if step 3 doesn't resolve the problem, like it didn't for me then do the following. I eventually manage to solve the problem. Today I discovered that when I press the Calculator Key on my Microsoft keyboard, it did noting but instead pop up a message saying select app but there were no apps to select.
